Corporate profile
Bluepowerlab is an independent consultancy agency incorporated under French Law in the form of an Individual Enterprise (EI) of Stephane Chassagnevirol, who made most of his career in the aerospace industry (aircraft and helicopters) at Airbus and created with the support of Airbus Development the start-up Bluepowerlab SAS, a simplified joint stock company acting in the field of energy transition and environmental protection.
Bluepowerlab (EI) provides energy transition and aviation consulting services on a freelance basis.
Mission statement
“After a couple of years of intense R&D and continuous monitoring of new emerging technologies pertaining to decarbonized energies production and storage, electrical batteries, fuel cells, hydrogen power and ODS/GHG emissions capture and removal at source, I gathered valuable insights into energy transition challenges and technologies, notably with respect to zero emissions vehicles. Since I got along many solicitations for aviation-related consulting opportunities thanks to my 35-year experience in aeronautics, I decided to refocus Bluepowerlab activities on energy transition & aviation consulting to share my experience and insights with the relevant stakeholders in need of implementing their transition pathways to net-zero, while keeping building their business with profit.”

What we do
Energy transition
Bluepowerlab provides expertise and assistance to the development of renewable energies’ use: solar, wind, wave and other forms of energy – including hydrogen and sustainable nuclear power disruptive solutions for which Bluepowerlab is in talks with university labs – as well as industry and transport decarbonization solutions.
This extends from capturing and removing ODS/GHG emissions of all kinds at source, up to developing new ground vehicles, ships, wigecraft or aircraft of new generation with zero emissions powertrains using hydrogen combustion or last fuel cells/ batteries technologies.
Aviation consulting
Through Bluepowerlab Stephane proposes to share his experience and knowledge in aeronautics and net-zero technologies with aviation professionals and companies or operators on mission-based contracts.
Stephane has an engineer’s degree in mechanics and electrotechnics with a postgraduate in robotics and automation, along with a wide spectrum of additional training in general management, finance, strategy and marketing from HEC, INSEAD or Airbus Corporate Academy.
With a sound 35-year background in aerospace industry at Airbus and overall, 15-year experience in Asia, Stephane gained the reputation of undisputed specialist of multifaceted complex deals maturing, showing high resilience against resistance to change or innovations.
